Retail & office

Entry plazas, courtyard seating, and sales-office mockup lawns for South Florida commercial properties.

Retail and office work is the smallest commercial install but the most visible. A 600-square-foot entry plaza at a Mizner Park retailer or a 1,200-square-foot courtyard at a Boca corporate park gets photographed in marketing materials, walked by every customer, and called out the moment a single seam shows.

The spec we use on these installs is short-pile, high-density, sand-infilled. The pile lies down under chair traffic and pops back up overnight. Seams are heat-welded with a hot-air iron, not glued — the finish is invisible at six inches and the install will outlast the lease.

Sales-office mockup lawns are a category of their own. A developer building a new community will commission a 2,000- to 5,000-square-foot mockup at the sales office to show the model home grounds before construction starts. We’ve done six of these in the last three years for developers in Wellington, Parkland, and West Boca. The turn-around is typically two weeks from contract to install, and the install travels — when the model phase ends, the turf comes up and reinstalls at the next sales office.
