Bay Colony oceanfront install — 6,100 square feet of lawn behind a Fort Lauderdale waterfront estate, directly exposed to salt spray off the Atlantic. The previous Bermuda lawn had been replaced twice in seven years.

Marine-grade everything. UV-stable monofilament yarn at 70 oz/yd² face weight, corrosion-resistant aluminum perimeter, and a French drain along the seawall edge to prevent saltwater pooling at the wall base. Base prep took four days because we had to remove and reset a section of the seawall apron.

The install closed in eight working days. Eighteen months in, the turf looks unchanged and the seawall apron is dry.
