Eighteen years in
A note from the field — eighteen years installing synthetic turf in South Florida and the few things that have changed.
Eighteen years ago we were a two-truck operation working out of a Boca Raton garage. Today there are three offices, four crews, six hundred Palm Beach installs, and two hundred Broward installs behind us. The work hasn’t changed as much as you’d expect.
What has changed: yarn quality, infill chemistry, drainage backing. A turf install in 2008 was expected to last seven years. A turf install today is warrantied for fifteen and routinely runs past twenty.
What hasn’t changed: the install crew shows up at 7:30 a.m. and the homeowner signs the walkthrough at the end of the week. That part we don’t intend to change.
